200 Bales is a local Mid Western Region initiative setup by Mudgee’s Glen Box.
We may have received some recent rain but many parts of Australia are still suffering through significant drought, a fact Glen knows only too well.
Glen says what started as a movement to deliver bales of hay to struggling farmers has rocketed past its initial goal of 200 bales and shows no signs of slowing down.
Helping Farmers Feed Stock
200 Bales is a community fundraiser to help farmers feed their stock. A small team of Mudgee locals banded together to make it happen, and the system has been simple and ‘on point’ to ensure farmer’s needs are met in a true blue, no-nonsense way.
The average cost of a quality round bale delivered to a farmer is $200 and, with that in mind, all donations are gratefully accepted.
What does a round bale do for a farmer who is in need? It provides them with hope and helps gives them the strength to keep going until significant rains come and feed starts to appear on the ground.
